NCVC Achieves Triple ISO Certifications in Business Continuity and Risk Management

Riyadh: The National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) has obtained international accreditation for its Business Continuity Management System (ISO 22301), as well as local certification attesting to the implementation of the ISO guideline standards for Risk Management (ISO 31000) and Emergency and Crisis Management (ISO 22361). This achievement reflects NCVC's commitment to applying leading international best practices and standards to strengthen institutional readiness and ensure business continuity.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this recognition forms part of NCVC's ongoing efforts to enhance its capacity to sustain the delivery of its services and critical operations, support the achievement of its strategic objectives, and align with national directions aimed at building resilient institutions capable of responding to a wide range of challenges.

NCVC emphasized that obtaining these certifications and implementing the associated standards are important steps toward reinforcing sustainability principles and effective governance. It also supports efforts to improve risk management efficiency and strengthen preparedness to address emergencies and crises with competence and effectiveness, contributing to national efforts to protect and develop vegetation cover and combat desertification in line with leading global practices.
