NCCAL: Tough Fines Face Stand-Up Comedy Promoters Violating Rules


Kuwait city: The National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters (NCCAL) said on Tuesday that stand-up comedy promoters will face tough fines if found violating rules and regulations concerning public decency. NCCAL Assistant Secretary General for the Arts Sector, Musaad Al-Zamel, emphasized the seriousness with which the NCCAL will handle any infractions.



According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Zamel stated that the fines are designed to ensure that performances adhere to societal values and morals. By enforcing these penalties, the NCCAL aims to maintain the quality and integrity of stand-up comedy shows.
