Kuwait city: Muslim World League (MWL) affirmed on Tuesday full solidarity with Syria, its government and people against all acts threatening the country's security, stability and sovereignty.
According to Kuwait News Agency, in a statement, the League expressed support to the Syrian government to protect all Syrian components, maintain national peace, and implement the rule of law. It stressed backing the country to face seditions that might arise among Syrians and confront interference in the country's domestic affairs.
The League also deplored Israeli occupation attacks on Syria's territories and its continued violations of all relevant international norms and laws. Al-Sweida Governorate, south of the Syrian Damascus, witnessed over the past two days clashes among armed outlaw groups from the governorate and some surrounding areas, resulting in the death and injury of dozens of people.
