Kuwait city: The National Cyber Security Center and the Ministry of Interior have jointly launched a national campaign aimed at increasing cyber security awareness. This initiative, unveiled on Thursday to coincide with Global Cybersecurity Day, is titled "Awareness.. Safeguard.. Protection."
According to Kuwait News Agency, the campaign seeks to enhance public understanding of contemporary cyber threats and equip individuals with the necessary tools to secure their digital information and accounts. This effort is being carried out in collaboration with the joint government application for electronic services, Sahel, and the government communication center.
Key areas of focus for the campaign include deep fake technology, password safety, online phishing, Wi-Fi security, and privacy. It emphasizes the importance of safe digital practices such as using strong passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, and disseminating warning messages to combat phishing attempts.
