Kuwait city: In the presence of the Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, a seminar themed "The Environment of Future Operations" was held on Thursday at Mubarak Al-Abdullah Joint Staff and Command College. The event focused on strategic issues related to military operations and the readiness to address modern and anticipated threats.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry of Defense stated that the seminar, led by Staff Colonel Sabah Mohammad Al-Sabah, featured a presentation by Dr. John Watling, a senior researcher at the British Royal Academy. The seminar explored various strategic challenges in military operations and emphasized the importance of integration among military ranks to effectively address these challenges.
Dr. Watling highlighted lessons learned from global operating threats and discussed the application of these lessons in modernizing military doctrines. The seminar also examined international guidelines on defense technologies, artificial intelligence, and non-conventional warfare, analyzing their impact on military operations.
Sheikh Abdullah praised the topics and ideas discussed during the gathering, emphasizing their significance for future military strategies.
