Ministry of Social Affairs Achieves 99% of Operating Plan for 2024-2025

Al Asimah: The Ministry of Social Affairs announced on Monday that it has accomplished 99 percent of its operating plan for the fiscal year 2024-2025, comprising 178 projects. The ministry also declared achieving 100 percent of its strategic plan for the same year, which includes 50 ventures.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Minister of Social Affairs, Family Affairs and Childhood, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, stated at a news conference that these achievements reflect the ministry's commitment to the guidance of the political leadership and demonstrate effective coordination among relevant authorities in implementing the New Kuwait Vision 2035. The ministry is pursuing full digital transformation in its social services through strategic partnerships with international technology companies and intensive staff training programs.

Minister Al-Huwailah emphasized the ministry's dedication to maintaining operational and strategic planning, responsible work, and transparency to enhance societal welfare.

Meanwhile, Dr. Sayyed Issa Mahmoud, the assistant undersecretary for planning, noted that a technological partnership is in progress with an international company to digitize most of the ministry's tasks. This effort is coupled with a training program for all personnel on the new digital system.

Regarding completed projects, Dr. Mahmoud reported that eight sectors achieved 100 percent completion of their ventures. The minister and undersecretary's bureaus recorded a 98 percent accomplishment rate, the social development bureau achieved 96 percent, and the family affairs council reached 95 percent completion.
