Minister of Justice Announces New Lawyers’ Law for Legal Reform

Kuwait city: The Minister of Justice has announced that a new lawyers' law is set to significantly advance the legal profession in the country. This initiative aims to regulate the profession more effectively and define the specific functions and roles of lawyers, indicating a substantial shift in the legal landscape.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry of Justice has signed protocols of cooperation with the Kuwait Bar Association (KBA) as part of a comprehensive reform project. This collaboration is expected to enhance legislation and further develop the country's institutional justice infrastructure.

In regional developments, Jordanian King Abdullah II has expressed strong opposition to the Israeli occupation's plans concerning Gaza. The King criticized efforts to consolidate occupation, increase military control, and expand settlement activities in the West Bank.

Meanwhile, the situation in Gaza remains dire, with health authorities reporting that 64 Palestinians have died and 278 others have been injured in the last 24 hours due to ongoing Israeli military actions against civilians.
