Minister of Amiri Diwan and Head of Crown Prince’s Diwan Meet Envoys from US, Greece, Albania, and Palestine

Kuwait city: Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah and Head of the Crown Prince's Diwan Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah held meetings at Bayan Palace with envoys from the United States, Greece, Albania, and Palestine. The meetings focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for further cooperation.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the United States to Kuwait, Steven Butler, extended congratulations to both Sheikh Hamad and Sheikh Thamer on their recent appointments. The discussions highlighted the strong historical ties between Kuwait and the US, emphasizing the importance of their strategic partnership and the commitment to enhancing it across various fields. Sheikh Hamad expressed gratitude for the United States' pivotal role in Kuwait's liberation and showed support for President Donald Trump's peace plan concerning the Gaza conflict.

The discussions with Ioannis Plotas, the Ambassador of Greece to Kuwait, revolved around enhancing bilateral cooperation and exploring ways to strengthen ties in multiple sectors. Similarly, the meeting with Ilir Husa, the Ambassador of Albania to Kuwait, focused on reviewing the robust relations between the two nations and identifying opportunities for further development.

In discussions with Rami Tahboub, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Kuwait, the emphasis was on reinforcing the deep fraternal ties between the two sides. Sheikh Hamad reiterated Kuwait's consistent support for Palestinian rights, particularly in their pursuit of establishing an independent state, aligning with joint Arab initiatives.
