Istanbul: A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 hit the north of the Turkish city of Istanbul on Wednesday, according to Turkiye's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
According to Kuwait News Agency, there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage following the earthquake.
