Lufthansa Group to Slash 4,000 Jobs by 2030 Citing Efficiency Improvement

Kuwait city: Germany's Lufthansa group announced on Monday plans to cut 4,000 jobs by 2030 in a move aimed at improving efficiency.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the group explained that these jobs are to be digitized in order to raise profits, boost support for Eurowings, and expand cargo activities, logistic services, and maintenance. Lufthansa Group is considered the largest in Europe as it is the parent company of Lufthansa, Swiss Air, Austria Air, Eurowings, and Brussels Airlines.
