Beirut: Lebanese President Joseph Aoun received Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation at the Presidential Palace in Baabda on Monday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, during the meeting, Sheikh Fahad Al-Sabah conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his sincere wishes for the Lebanese Republic for continued security, stability, and prosperity. He emphasized Kuwait's commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields.
The discussion covered several regional and international topics of common interest, along with ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries' security agencies and exchange expertise in various fields. Sheikh Fahad praised the deep-rooted fraternal relations between Kuwait and Lebanon, highlighting Kuwait's dedication to consolidating the bonds of cooperation and joint coordination.
