Kuwait’s Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute Sign Cooperation Framework with the OIC

Jeddah: The Kuwaiti Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute signed a cooperation framework with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to enhance joint cooperation in the diplomatic field, at the organization's headquarters in Jeddah.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the cooperation framework was signed on behalf of the Institute by the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Institute, Ambassador Nasser Al-Subaih. The Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs of the OIC, Ambassador Yousef Al-Dubaie, signed on behalf of the OIC.

The cooperation framework aims to support the training of diplomats from OIC member states and organize capacity-building programs to prepare experts in diplomacy. It focuses on enhancing understanding of international issues within the context of joint Islamic action and public diplomacy and addressing shared challenges facing member states.

This marks the first cooperation framework between the institute and the OIC, expanding training opportunities and dialogue on joint diplomatic work. It builds on the institute's role in preparing and training diplomatic personnel and its record of professional partnerships with global diplomatic and academic institutions. The ceremony was attended by the Consul General of the State of Kuwait in Jeddah and Permanent Representative to the OIC, Yousef Al-Tunib, Deputy Permanent Representative and Counselor at the Kuwaiti Delegation to the OIC, Counselor Turki Al-Daihani, and Diplomatic Attach© at the Saud Al-Sabah Institute, Asmaa Al-Hajji.
