Kuwait City: Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Talal Al-Mutairi, underscored the significance of collaboration between Kuwait and the Arab League in training and capacity building for diplomatic personnel. This assertion was made during the inaugural speech at the introductory training program for Kuwaiti diplomats, which highlighted the activities of the Arab League sectors. The event was attended by Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Sector at the League, Ambassador Mohammad Al-Ajeri. According to Kuwait News Agency, Ambassador Al-Mutairi welcomed the delegation from the Kuwaiti Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute at the Arab League's General Secretariat headquarters. He emphasized that the visit aims to acquaint the diplomats with the League's functions and its pivotal role in addressing regional and international challenges, as well as promoting unified Arab actions across various sectors. Ambassador Al-Mutairi expresse d satisfaction with the strengthening of cooperative efforts in training between Kuwait and the League. The ambassador highlighted Kuwait's long-standing support for the Arab work system, which spans over sixty years, and its commitment to addressing regional issues with due importance. On his part, Ambassador Al-Ajery welcomed the diplomatic delegation and acknowledged Kuwait's dedication to providing opportunities for Arab youth, particularly diplomats, to gain insight into the operations of the Arab League, recognized as the oldest institution of its kind in the modern era. Ambassador Al-Ajery commended Kuwait's historical and ongoing contributions to the Arab League's initiatives across political, economic, cultural, and financial domains. He noted Kuwait's provision of skilled personnel to bolster the League's General Secretariat and its efforts to enhance humanitarian conditions in crisis-affected areas. He also highlighted the Arab League's achievements in various sectors since its inception. The tr aining program, extending until December 5, includes a series of introductory lectures on the Arab League, its formation, and its endeavors in economic and Arab affairs, national and social security, combating terrorism, legal treaties and agreements, as well as initiatives concerning refugees and migration.
