Kuwait city: The Kuwaiti-based NAMAA Charity Society announced the implementation of a project to distribute food baskets to displaced persons in northern Gaza, in cooperation with its partners approved by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A statement by NAMAA said the project comes in response to urgent humanitarian needs. According to Kuwait News Agency, food baskets were provided to 155 families, which include approximately 930 individuals. These families, comprising affected workers and displaced individuals, reside in areas experiencing difficult living conditions due to ongoing displacement and economic pressures. The society affirmed its commitment to ensuring that support reaches those who deserve it efficiently and transparently. Khaled Al-Shaamri, head of the development and relief sector at NAMAA, stated in a statement to KUNA that the distribution was organized to directly reach eligible families while considering their specific needs. Al-Shaamri emphasized that this initiative is an exte nsion of NAMAA Charity's humanitarian approach, which combines strategic planning with effective field implementation. He noted that the success of this initiative would not have been possible without the directives of Kuwait's leadership, positioning Kuwait as a model for humanitarian work both regionally and internationally.
