Kuwait’s Namaa Charity Provides Essential Food Aid to Sudanese Refugees in Chad

Kuwait city: Kuwait's Namaa Charity affiliated with Social Reform Society distributed 1,100 full food baskets and provided fresh meat for families in need at refugee camps, supporting thousands of Sudanese fleeing Al-Fashir to Chad.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Namaa CEO Saad Al-Otaibi stated that the food baskets were prepared to cover a full month of needs, with distributions carried out across four large camps hosting about 140,000 people. Al-Otaibi emphasized Namaa's commitment to implementing its projects through officially recognized institutions approved by Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure proper procedures and reliable local partnerships.

Al-Otaibi highlighted that members of the relief delegation registered on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' platform, acknowledging the ministry's efforts in facilitating the mission and ensuring the team's safety. He also recognized the Ministry of Social Affairs for its continuous support and cooperation with charitable organizations.

Al-Otaibi mentioned that the charity operates under an ongoing relief plan covering food, medical support, and urgent humanitarian projects, noting that needs remain vast and the humanitarian responsibility even greater. He reaffirmed the charity's firm stance and support for the Sudanese refugees and affected communities.
