Kuwait’s Namaa Charity Launches “For Gaza” Relief Campaign

Kuwait city: Namaa Charity, part of the Social Reform Society, has launched the “For Gaza” relief campaign to deliver urgent food, water, and shelter aid to survivors in Gaza. Namaa Charity’s Marketing Director, Ibrahim Al-Sanea, stated that the project reflects Kuwait’s humanitarian commitment and the charity’s duty to support afflicted and needy people worldwide.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Sanea emphasized that Gaza is facing severe humanitarian suffering, with civilians enduring tragic conditions, homelessness, and acute shortages of food, water, and medical care. The project aims to support thousands of displaced families in Gaza by providing ready-to-eat meals, potable water to areas with destroyed infrastructure, and comprehensive food baskets to enhance food security.

Al-Sanea highlighted reports from the UN and OCHA, noting that over 1.7 million people are displaced in Gaza, with nearly 80 percent facing food insecurity and over half of the children suffering from malnutrition. He assured that the charity is carrying out the project with accredited local partners in Gaza and under the supervision of Kuwaiti authorities to ensure transparency, urgent implementation, and proper monitoring, guaranteeing aid reaches those most in need.

He urged charitable individuals in Kuwait and abroad to support the project, pointing out that it could be life-changing for Gaza’s children, who seek only a clean meal, safe water, and a blanket.
