Kuwait city: Kuwait's Minister of Information and Culture Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi and Egyptian Minister of Investment Hassan Al-Khatib inaugurated the 16th Kuwaiti Week exhibition in Egypt. The event showcases participation from over 80 Kuwaiti and Egyptian entities across various sectors.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the ministers toured the pavilions of the participating Kuwaiti entities. Minister Al-Khatib acknowledged the high level of participation from Kuwait. Minister Al-Mutairi emphasized the strength of Kuwaiti-Egyptian relations across political, economic, cultural, media, and social sectors, noting the event's role in enhancing these ties.
Kuwait's Ambassador to Egypt, Ghanem Al-Ghanem, highlighted the event's significance in consolidating relations between Kuwait and Egypt. He noted that the exhibition serves as a platform for communication and collaboration between institutions from both countries in economic, investment, cultural, and media sectors.
Deputy Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives, Mohamed Abou El-Enein, echoed similar sentiments, describing the partnership between the two countries as a model for joint Arab action. He praised the leaderships of both nations for fostering economic cooperation and supporting joint investments.
The exhibition, held under the patronage of Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, features a diverse range of entities, including the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, and several Egyptian ministries. The event was attended by Arab ambassadors and other dignitaries, reflecting the importance of Kuwaiti-Egyptian collaboration.
