RAMALLAH: Vice-President of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society Marwan Jilani expresses his appreciation for Kuwait's continuous humanitarian support to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people during the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression. At least 47 Palestinians were killed and scores of others, mostly children and women, injured in a renewed deadly series of Israeli occupation airstrikes late Thursday, according to Palestinian media reports. According to Kuwait News Agency, Japanese Defense Minister Gen Nakatani and his European Union counterpart Josep Borrell have agreed to work more closely together to deepen defense cooperation and exchanges between Japan and the EU, as stated by Japan's Defense Ministry. This development highlights the ongoing international efforts to strengthen military alliances and partnerships. In a related regional development, South Korea has announced fresh sanctions targeting 11 North Korean individuals and four entities.
