Kuwait city: Kuwait has witnessed numerous pivotal moments throughout its history, shaping the nation's legislative, educational, and security landscapes.

According to Kuwait News Agency, key historical events include the passing of Mashaan Khudhair Al-Mashaan in 1965 at the age of 73. Al-Mashaan was a prominent figure, serving in various significant capacities such as a member of the Al-Ay'an council in 1920, the legislative council in 1921, and the municipal council in 1932. He was also the first head of the financial administration in 1938 and played a crucial role in drafting Kuwait's electoral law. His contributions extended to co-founding the first national airline, the Ahmadiya School, and being a notable philanthropist.

In 1972, a resolution was passed by the Kuwait Government prioritizing local products and services in state tenders, provided they met Kuwaiti standards. A year later, in 1973, an Amiri Decree established the Faculty of Medicine at Kuwait University, with studies commencing in the 1976-77 academic year.

Significant changes occurred in 1986 when Kuwait's Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah dissolved the National Assembly during its sixth legislative term and amended aspects of the Publications Law 3/1961, alongside subjecting periodic publications to pre-publication scrutiny.

The formation of the Kuwait Union for Women's Societies was announced in 1994, led by Sheikha Latifa Fahad Al-Sabah. This union became part of the international women federation based at the UN headquarters in New York.

In recent years, Kuwait has demonstrated its commitment to international relations and education, donating approximately USD 900,000 in 2014 to construct the "Kuwait house" to support Muslim education in Ningxia, China. The country also took significant security measures in 2016 when preemptive strikes by Kuwait security forces thwarted three terrorist plots by the so-called Islamic State (IS), preventing potential destabilization.

Moreover, the Kuwait Health Ministry launched an online system in 2018 for laboratories to obtain test results, marking a step forward in healthcare technology and efficiency in the country.
