Kuwait’s Cultural Folklore Week Concludes in Hong Kong.

Kuwait City: Kuwait's cultural folklore week in Hong Kong, organized by the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature (NCCAL) in Hong Kong and Macao, concluded on Sunday. The event aimed to showcase Kuwait's historical and cultural identity through a series of carefully selected activities. According to Kuwait News Agency, the General Director of Kuwait's National Library, Siham Al-Azmi, stated that the week featured performances by two of Kuwait's folklore bands, which played traditional music. Al-Azmi emphasized the importance of such events in promoting Kuwait's culture and heritage internationally. She also highlighted the ongoing commitment of NCCAL, established in 1973, to organize cultural and heritage weeks in various countries. Al-Azmi expressed gratitude towards the Minister of Information and Culture, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, and the Secretary General of NCCAL, Dr. Mohammad Al-Jasser, for their efforts in ensuring the success of the activities. She also acknowledged the strong bilateral re lations between Kuwait and Hong Kong that facilitated the event.
