Kuwait City: Kuwait's editors-in-chief have welcomed UAE President Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, who is currently on an official visit to the country, saying it embodies deep-rooted and brotherly relations between Kuwait and the UAE. According to Kuwait News Agency, these editors-in-chief emphasized the importance of this official visit in enhancing bilateral cooperation and common interests in several fields, contributing to boosting Gulf unity and demonstrating the strength of the GCC. They noted that the visit is crucial in strengthening permanent coordination and consultation, especially given the complex regional conditions that require close collaboration to overcome challenges. The editors-in-chief confirmed that aligning visions and policies between the two countries will benefit their nations and the broader region. Commenting on the visit, Yusuf Al-Marzouq, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Anbaa newspaper, expressed that Kuwait receives UAE's President Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan with a sens e of love and friendship. He added that the visit marks a new phase in enhancing historic relations between the two sisterly countries, who are strategic partners and main pillars of the GCC family. Editor-in-Chief of Al-Rai newspaper, Walid Al-Jassem, highlighted the visit's significance in boosting Kuwait-UAE ties, Gulf unity, and preparing for the upcoming Kuwait Summit. He elaborated on the longstanding relationship between the two nations and noted UAE's pioneering role in various domains, which creates potential for collaboration in logistic fields, ports, aviation, tourism, and investment. Chairman of Kuwait Journalists Association, Adnan Al-Rashed, stated that Sheikh Mohammad's official visit enhances fruitful cooperation on different levels, indicating the strong pillars of trade and investment exchange between the two nations. He also emphasized the importance of media cooperation to transmit a positive image of development and growth in both countries. Nasser Al-Otaibi, Al-Jarida newspaper Edito r-In-Chief, pointed to the significance of this visit amid ongoing regional tensions and stressed the need for enhanced Gulf unity and cooperation. He expressed hope for a prosperous future for the peoples of Kuwait and the UAE, free from conflicts and threats to international peace.
