London: Kuwait's Civil Service Commission (CSC) recently wrapped up a contractual program themed "workshop on leadership empowerment" in London. The event, which concluded on Friday, saw the presence of Kuwait's Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Bader Al-Munayekh.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the workshop included participation from heads of 12 government bodies and was held from January 13 to 17. The program was organized by the commission's overseas training department under a memorandum of understanding between Kuwait and the UK.
The workshop aimed to enhance the reliability of civil servants and develop strategies for qualifying future leaders of government institutions. It drew on the experience of the UK Civil Service. Participants also had the opportunity to visit both chambers of the UK Parliament, where they learned about the evolution of the lawmaking process in the UK.
