Jeddah: Kuwait's Assistant Foreign Minister for Human Rights, Ambassador Sheikha Jawaher Ibrahim Al-Duaij Al-Sabah, engaged in discussions with Ambassador Dr. Arwa Al-Sayed, Director of the Bahraini Foreign Ministry's Human Rights Department, on enhancing cooperation in the human rights sector. The dialogue took place on the sidelines of the 26th regular session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at its headquarters.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting between Sheikha Jawaher and Al-Sayed, who is also a member of the independent permanent Human Rights committee of the OIC, focused on advancing collaborative efforts both bilaterally and internationally. Dr. Al-Sayed commended Kuwait for its humanitarian initiatives and contributions.
Additionally, Ambassador Sheikha Jawaher engaged in discussions with the General Director for Women and Human Rights Affairs at the Iranian Foreign Ministry, addressing further cooperation in human rights.
