Kuwait’s Acting Prime Minister and French Trade Minister Discuss Economic Cooperation

Kuwait city: Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah received France's Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade, Nicolas Forissier, and his delegation at Bayan Palace. The meeting marked the French delegation's official visit to Kuwait, with Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalifa Al-Ajeel also present.

According to Kuwait News Agency, discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations in the commercial and economic fields, with both sides exploring ways to expand cooperation to serve mutual interests. The meeting emphasized enhancing existing ties and seeking new opportunities for collaboration.

Participants included Head of the Prime Minister's Diwan Abdulaziz Al-Dakhil, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Ambassador Sadiq Marafi, and France's Ambassador to Kuwait Olivier Govan.
