Kuwaitis Win 6 Medals at West Asia Fencing Tourney

Kuwait city: Kuwait's national fencing team secured six medals on the fifth day of the West Asia Fencing Championship, currently taking place in Bahrain, bringing their total medal count to 31. According to Kuwait News Agency, in the U-17 women's Sabre category, Sahar Al-Omair claimed the gold medal, while Sohad Al-Naqib took silver, and Farah Al-Rashidi earned bronze in the Foil contest. In the U-17 men's Epee event, Khaled Al-Hawli achieved gold, while Mariam Al-Ghais and Fatma Qasem won silver and bronze, respectively, in the same category. The championship, which started on August 30, involves 310 athletes from ten countries and is set to conclude tomorrow.
