Kuwait city: Kuwaiti researchers are actively contributing to the 15th Gulf Research Meeting held at Cambridge University from July 22-24. The event, which features participation from researchers across more than 180 countries, focuses on a range of topics pertinent to the Gulf region, including political, economic, energy, security, scientific, and social issues.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Dr. Fai bin Salama, a cybersecurity researcher, led the 12th workshop of the forum. She presented a study aimed at formulating a unified framework to enhance regional coordination among GCC member states in addressing increasing cyber threats.
Talal Mulla Ali, a PhD researcher at Brunel University of London, shared insights from his study concerning the impact of artificial intelligence on human reactions to machines on social media. Additionally, Awrad Mulla Ali, a PhD researcher at Birmingham University, delivered a presentation on her study related to artificial intelligence.
The meeting, an annual event, organizes 12 workshops designed to foster constructive dialogue and academic collaboration on issues affecting the Gulf region.
