Kuwaiti Official Praises Expressive Nature of Youth Theatre Festival

Kuwait city: A Kuwaiti youth theatre festival is tantamount to a platform allowing young thespian talents the opportunity to express their artistic views, an official said on Sunday. The annual festival, sponsored by Kuwait's Information Minister and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, is gradually tweaked in a bid to keep up with the "aspirations" of young theatrical talents, Youth Public Authority Acting Deputy Director General Waleed Al-Ansari said in a statement.

According to Kuwait News Agency, ahead of the festival's opening on November 17, Al-Ansari praised the efforts of the event's organizers to ensure that festivities ensue in a manner that depicts the rich history and prominence of the event. Emphasizing the competitiveness of the theatre festival, its chief Dr. Mohammad Al-Mezel noted that participants are putting in the final preparations ahead of the event, calling on theatre aficionados not to miss what promises to be a theatrical spectacle.
