Kuwait Embassy Participates in Annual Charity Bazaar in New Delhi

New delhi: The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in New Delhi participated in the 35th annual Charity Bazaar organized by the Delhi Commonwealth Women's Association and the International Women's Club in the Indian capital.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait's Ambassador to India, Meshal Al-Shemali, stated that Kuwait's annual involvement in the charity bazaar, supported by civil society organizations, demonstrates the country's commitment to actions aimed at enhancing social solidarity with marginalized communities and addressing the needs of the less fortunate.

Ambassador Al-Shemali, who was the guest of honor at this year's event, acknowledged the Kuwait Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its ongoing support of international efforts in providing aid and contributions to humanitarian and charitable projects. He expressed gratitude to Kuwaiti entities such as Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways for their significant donations, including travel vouchers offered as raffle prizes during the bazaar.

The one-day event, held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, saw participation from several Arab and foreign embassies accredited in the Indian capital, as well as Indian companies, showcasing a range of products.
