Kuwait city: Kuwait national karate team player Mohammad Al-Moussawi won the silver on Tuesday at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh after losing to Turkish competitor Enes Ozdemir 41-43 in the "Kata" final game. Al-Moussawi's performance marked a significant achievement for the Kuwaiti team.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Moussawi's compatriot Abdullah Shaaban also brought home a silver medal in the 60-kg "Kumite" game of the same competition, showcasing the prowess of Kuwaiti karate athletes in the international arena.
Additionally, Asrar Al-Jassem contributed to the medal tally by securing a bronze medal in the "Kumite" female contest at the same games. This collective success highlights the dedication and skill of the Kuwaiti karate team at the Islamic Solidarity Games.
