Sharjah: The Kuwaiti Karate team achieved a remarkable success by securing 12 medals at the West Asian Karate Championship held in Sharjah. This impressive haul includes four gold medals, four silver medals, and four bronze medals, marking a significant accomplishment for the Kuwaiti athletes across various age groups.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the head of Kuwait’s karate federation, Fayiz Al-Daihani, expressed his joy and appreciation for the achievements of the Kuwaiti champions. Al-Daihani noted that the athletes delivered outstanding performances in both the Kumite combat and Kata demonstration events, competing in the youth and junior categories.
Al-Daihani dedicated this victory to the leadership of Kuwait, the Kuwaiti karate community, and the people of Kuwait. He commended the athletes for their determination and enthusiasm, which were key to their success in winning a substantial number of medals.
