Kuwait city: Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya met with his Dutch counterpart David van Weel, who is currently in Kuwait to participate in the second session of the High-Level Ministerial Security Forum on Security and Regional Cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union (EU), as well as the 29th session of the Joint Ministerial Council between the GCC and the EU.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that the meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to review bilateral relations between Kuwait and the Netherlands. They discussed ways to strengthen and develop these ties, while also addressing current regional developments and international issues.
Following their discussions, the two nations signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a joint cooperation committee. This agreement signifies a commitment by both governments to enhance their cooperative relations in a variety of important fields, aiming to broaden horizons and enhance mutual interests.
