Kuwait City: A seminar focusing on Kuwaiti cultural heritage opened on Monday as part of the annual Al-Qurain festival, bringing together a plethora of academic experts from Kuwait and abroad to delve into the nation's vibrant cultural and arts scene.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the seminar is the latest chapter in the festival's illustrious history of similar initiatives aiming to discuss at length a slew of literary and artistic topics, said Kuwait National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters chief Dr. Mohammad Al-Jassar, underlining the Council's efforts to keep that annual tradition alive.
On the seminar's objectives, Kuwaiti writer Hussain Al-Mutawa said it looks into a number of intellectual and literary topics, all of which allow participants to create their own arguments in a constructive and critical manner, he underlined.
Over the course of three days, the seminar will examine multiple topics ranging from novel critique methods to content creation on social media, he added.
