Doha: The Kuwaiti national Padel team, comprising women's and juniors' squads, celebrated a significant victory at the Arabian Gulf Padel Cup, Qatar 2025, held in Doha. Meanwhile, the men's team secured a respectable third place in the competition.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Kuwaiti junior team delivered an outstanding performance, defeating Oman with a clean sweep of 3-0. Similarly, the women's team mirrored this success, also scoring a 3-0 victory against Oman. Despite a challenging match, the Kuwaiti men's team finished third after a 3-0 loss to the UAE.
The tournament was structured into three main categories: men's, women's, and juniors. Each category followed a league format where teams played three matches. A team needed to win two matches to secure victory. The event was organized by the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Padel, and Badminton Federation at the Padel Inn courts in Aspire.
