Kuwait city: Kuwait's Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, Dr. Nora Al-Fassam, held discussions with Egyptian Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Transport and Industry, Lieutenant General Kamel Al-Wazir on Monday. They examined ways to strengthen economic, investment, and development cooperation between the two countries.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry of Finance issued a press statement indicating that the meeting took place as part of the Egyptian minister's official visit to Kuwait. The discussions focused on identifying opportunities in key priority sectors of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) Sheikh Saud Al-Sabah, Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Osama Shaltout, and several officials from the KIA and the Ministry of Finance.
