Kuwait Commerce Minister Stresses National Duty in Safeguarding Industrial System

Kuwait city: Minister of Commerce and Industry, and Chairman of the Public Authority for Industry (PAI) Khalifa Al-Ajeel emphasized that safeguarding the commercial and industrial system is a "national responsibility that requires concerted efforts." Minister Al-Ajeel made this statement to KUNA after a comprehensive inspection campaign in the south Amghara scrap yard, highlighting the need to address all violations and encroachments within legal frameworks, ensuring that no one is above the law. He confirmed the ongoing nature of these inspection campaigns, with the primary objective of restoring order and discipline to the area by eliminating all violations and encroachments.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Minister Al-Ajeel assured the ministry and the PAI's dedication to working closely with relevant authorities to maintain these efforts, aiming to create a safe and organized industrial and commercial environment. The recent campaign resulted in the detection of several violations and led to the closure of non-compliant units, with preparations underway for necessary legal actions against those responsible.

The campaign saw the involvement of General Fire Force (KFF) Chief Major General Talal Al-Roumi, alongside several executive leaders from the PAI, underscoring the collaborative approach in addressing the situation.
