Kuwait City: Kuwait Ministry of Health announced Sunday that Dr. Turki Al-Otaibi was elected as president of the Middle East Regional Board at the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) on the sidelines of ISN World Congress held in India. A ministry statement said Dr. Al-Otaibi is the first Kuwaiti ever to be elected to this position since ISN’s establishment, reflecting the professional excellence of the Kuwaiti medical talent on an international level.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Dr. Al-Otaibi holds an impressive record of accomplishments, serving as President of the Arab Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation, Chief of the Nephrology and Kidney Transplant Department at the Kuwaiti Center for Nephrology and Kidney Transplant, and president of the Kuwaiti Organ Transplant Society.
He delivered several scientific lectures at leading global medical institutions, solidifying his reputation as one of the foremost experts in nephrology and kidney transplantation both regionally and globally, i
