Istanbul: The Kuwaiti International Islamic Charity Organization (IICO) announced on Thursday that it executed a training course in Turkiye to enable and empower Syrian women refugees.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the IICO affirmed in a statement that the training course lasted six months at a cost of around USD 37,000, benefiting 101 Syrian women and, by extension, approximately 400 members of their families.
The organization also provided participants with tools to enable them to launch their small-size businesses from their homes, added the statement. The initiative aims to provide sustainable support and empowerment for the refugees, facilitating economic independence and stability.
