Rome: Kuwaiti athletes Zaid Al-Sulaiteen and Abdulaziz Al-Sulaiteen grabbed the gold medals in their respective categories in the World (Grand Slam) Jiu-Jitsu Championship currently held in the Italian capital, Rome. According to Kuwait News Agency, Zaid Al-Sulaiteen won the gold medal in the 14-year-old category after defeating his Ukrainian opponent, while Abdulaziz Al-Sulaiteen claimed the gold in the 12-year-old category. The World (Grand Slam) Jiu-Jitsu Championship is recognized as the second-largest tournament for professional Jiu-Jitsu athletes, highlighting the significance of this achievement for the Kuwaiti athletes.
