Kuwaiti Athletes Triumph at Qatar International Jiu-Jitsu Championship


Doha: Kuwaiti athletes Ahmad and Khaled Al-Sharaf have emerged victorious at the Qatar International Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, securing three gold medals and one silver medal in Doha.



According to Kuwait News Agency, Khaled Al-Sharaf clinched a gold medal in the 34-kilogram grey belt category and a silver medal in the 34-kilogram grey belt NO-GI category. His brother, Ahmad Sharaf, achieved gold medals in both the 27-kilogram grey belt and the 27-kilogram grey belt NO-GI categories.



The players’ father, Essa Al-Sharaf, expressed his satisfaction with the results, stating that the championship, which concluded on Friday, featured elite professionals from various countries. He emphasized his commitment to supporting his sons in their pursuit of higher rankings in future international competitions, representing Kuwait on the global stage.
