Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Camel Racing Club concluded its 2024-2025 camel racing season at the club’s Martyr Fahad Al-Ahmad track on Thursday by holding 11 rounds, including four main ones for young camels. Speaking to KUNA after honoring the winners of the 28th competition, the club’s treasurer, Mesfer Al-Ajmi, highlighted the season which started in September 2023 and saw extensive participation from Kuwaiti camel owners.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the races were held on a weekly basis, featuring intense competition among all participating camels. Al-Ajmi praised the organization and technical execution of the events this season. He also noted that the club had successfully organized the 23rd annual Kuwaiti International Camel Racing Championship in February, which attracted participation from camel owners across Kuwait, Gulf, and Arab countries.
The championship, held at the same track, featured 81 rounds over the course of six days, underscoring the event’s significance and popularity within the region.
