Kuwaiti Ambassador Highlights Nation’s Humanitarian Contributions in Cairo

Cairo: Kuwaiti Ambassador to Egypt Ghanem Al-Ghanem praised Kuwait's humanitarian and charitable efforts on both regional and international platforms during a meeting in Cairo. The ambassador's comments came as he met with a delegation of Kuwaiti charities participating in the 26th conference of the International Islamic Council for Da'wah and Relief (IICDR).

According to Kuwait News Agency, Ambassador Al-Ghanem emphasized that Kuwait's commitment to supporting humanitarian and relief efforts reflects the values of its people and the country's dedication to aid. He acknowledged the significant contributions of Kuwaiti charitable organizations in delivering humanitarian and development support to those in need worldwide.

The IICDR's two-day conference began in Cairo on Monday, featuring representatives from 33 international charities. Among the participants were Kuwait's Al-Najat Charitable Society and the International Islamic Charity Organization (IICO). The meeting, led by Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmad Al-Tayeb, focused on strategies to enhance charitable work and motivate young individuals to engage in volunteer activities.
