Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti Al-Najat charity announced on Tuesday that its humanitarian efforts have reached more than 380,000 Yemenis as part of the "Kuwait on your side" campaign, now in its tenth consecutive year.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Abdullah Alshehab, chair of the association's division of programs and projects, detailed the charity's initiatives in Yemen. The projects include constructing seven villages and drilling 52 wells to improve living conditions. The charity also built eight bakeries and five schools, providing educational support to 210 students.
In addition, the association established a medical center and offered assistance to nearly 6,000 patients. Food and relief supplies were distributed to approximately 120,000 individuals, reflecting the charity's comprehensive approach to addressing the needs of Yemenis.
