Damascus: Kuwaiti aid planes carrying 46 tons of foodstuff landed in Syria as part of the 25th and 26th relief aid missions of the Kuwaiti humanitarian air bridge. The planes arrived in Damascus on Thursday, continuing the ongoing "Kuwait by Your Side" humanitarian campaign for Syria.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the campaign is supervised by official Kuwaiti entities and charitable organizations. The initiative, which aims to provide support to those in need, will continue beyond the upcoming Holy Month of Ramadan. The coordination of these efforts involves the Kuwaiti air force and several ministries.
The campaign has so far delivered around 657 tons of relief aid to Syria, focusing on assistance during the winter season.
