Kuwait Voices Strong Condemnation of Blockade on Gaza

Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait has reaffirmed its condemnation of the ongoing blockade imposed by the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip, a stance articulated in a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The statement emphasized Kuwait's denunciation of the unjust conditions affecting the Gaza region.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Khalifa Al-Ajeel, the Minister of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Public Authority for Industry (PAI), highlighted the importance of safeguarding the commercial and industrial sectors. He described this as a national responsibility that necessitates collective efforts.

In Berlin, Kuwait and Lithuania advanced their diplomatic relations by signing a memorandum of understanding aimed at facilitating political consultations between the two nations. This agreement marks a significant step in fostering bilateral ties and cooperation.

Meanwhile, in London, foreign ministers from 25 countries, alongside the European Union, issued a joint statement calling for an immediate cessation of hostilities in the Gaza Strip. The international community continues to urge for peace and resolution in the conflict-laden region.

In a related development in Geneva, the World Health Organization (WHO) chief reported that Israeli occupation forces conducted three separate attacks targeting WHO staff residences in Deir al Balah, Gaza, as well as the organization's main warehouse. The WHO has called for the urgent release of a detained staff member, underscoring the humanitarian challenges faced in the area.
