Beirut: The faculty of architecture at Kuwait University showcased the design of the Kuwait pavilion for the upcoming Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The visual exhibition was held at the conventions hall at Sabah Al-Salem University compound, in collaboration with the Ministry of Information. According to Kuwait News Agency, the acting KU rector, Dr. Usama Al-Saeed, expressed that the Expo Osaka presents an opportunity to display Kuwait's creative talents. Dr. Imad Al-Gattan, a member of the Expo technical team, highlighted that the Kuwaiti pavilion will represent the collaborative efforts between the university and the Ministry of Information. He emphasized Kuwait's longstanding commitment to human resource development and noted its pioneering role in adopting free education in the Gulf region. Dr. Al-Gattan further stated that Expo 2025 will allow Kuwait to demonstrate its alignment with the Vision 2035 development strategy. The event will spotlight the nation's ability to empower individuals and foster a society grounded in innovation and cooperation. Dr. Adel Al-Mu'men, acting rector of the Faculty of Architecture, remarked that exhibitions like these serve as a platform to showcase creative designs. Meanwhile, Salem Al-Watyan, the general commissioner of the State of Kuwait to Expo Osaka, stated that the exhibition was organized following the directives of the Minister of Information, Culture, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi. Kuwait's pavilion motto, "the minaret of the future," with the subtitle "empowering individuals," aims to emphasize human empowerment.
