Cairo:The fourth session of the Kuwaiti-Tunisian supreme committee took place with key discussions led by Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration Mohammad Ali Al-Nafti and Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya. This significant meeting concluded with the signing of twelve accords and memoranda of understanding across various sectors including diplomacy, health, education, and industry. According to Kuwait News Agency, the committee's three-day deliberations culminated in agreements aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two nations. These include accords for cultural and technical cooperation, aerial services, and memoranda of understanding focused on environmental protection and accreditation processes. Additionally, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Saud Al-Nasser Diplomatic Institute and the International Diplomatic Academy in Tunisia, furthering educational and diplomatic collaboration. During the signing ceremony, the Tunisian Foreign Minister emphasiz ed the commitment of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Tunisian President Qais Saied to strengthening bilateral relations. The minister highlighted a new phase of partnership, acknowledging Kuwait's Vision 2035, which aspires to position Kuwait as a leading financial and commercial hub in the Gulf region. He also remarked on Kuwait's longstanding support for Tunisia, notably through the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development, which has been instrumental since the 1960s in funding various development projects within Tunisia.
