Kuwait and Jordan Enhance Cultural Cooperation.

Cairo: Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi and Jordanian Minister of Culture Mustafa Al-Rawashdeh held discussions on Wednesday to strengthen cultural cooperation between their respective countries. The meeting focused on the role of culture in fostering understanding between societies and enhancing the intellectual abilities of youth. According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Mutairi emphasized Kuwait's commitment to supporting cultural projects and initiatives that aim to strengthen ties among Arab countries. He highlighted the importance of providing platforms for youth to showcase their ideas and creativity. He also expressed appreciation for Jordan's significant cultural contributions, which led to its selection as the guest of honor for the 47th Kuwait International Book Fair. Minister Al-Rawashdeh acknowledged Kuwait's substantial contributions to the Arab cultural scene, citing distinguished publications such as Al-Arabi magazine, Kuwait magazine, and cultural encyclopedias as valuable resources in the Arab world. He stressed the importance of enhancing cultural cooperation between Kuwait and Jordan, including the exchange of cultural and artistic expertise and the organization of joint events to support and develop Arab cultural work. During their visit, the ministers toured the Ministry of Information Museum, which showcases the history and development of media in Kuwait. The museum features images of influential works in Kuwait and the region, as well as historical cameras and audio devices used in the ministry's previous programs.
