Kuwait Triumphs Over Algeria in Handball World Cup

Zagreb: The Kuwaiti handball team secured a victory against Algeria with a score of 38-31 at the 2025 IHF Men's Handball World Championship, specifically in the President's Cup segment of the tournament.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Kuwaiti team, known as the "blues," claimed their second win in the competition taking place in Croatia. They led the first half with an 18-14 score. Previously, Kuwait achieved a narrow victory over Guinea, winning 26-24 last Tuesday. The team is now competing for either the 27th or 28th position in the championship.

The tournament, which began on January 14, will continue until February 2. Matches are being held across three countries: Croatia, Norway, and Denmark.
