Kuwait city: Kuwait has designated Sunday, January 18, as a public holiday to commemorate the Muslim event of Al-Israa wal Miraj, as announced by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) on Monday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, it was also specified by the CSC that regular work schedules will resume on Monday, January 19. Government agencies with specialized work requirements will have the flexibility to decide their holiday schedules based on their internal management, taking into consideration the "public interest."
