Kuwait City: Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila, affirmed the ministry's efforts to highlight Kuwait's role in developing its charitable work system.
According to Kuwait News Agency, this statement was released in a press briefing after Dr. Al-Huwaila's meeting with the Chairman of the National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing. Representatives from various state entities, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, and the Central Bank of Kuwait, were also present at the meeting.
Dr. Al-Huwaila noted that the meeting aimed to strengthen Kuwait's humanitarian role by improving charitable work and enhancing coordination with regulatory bodies. The collaboration with these entities is part of a broader initiative to ensure that Kuwait's charitable efforts are both effective and compliant with international standards.
